What Is Custom Interior Remodeling?
Custom interior remodeling is where your home truly takes shape. Beyond structural work and framing, this phase defines how your home looks, feels, and functions every day. It’s about creating cohesive, comfortable spaces tailored specifically to your needs. As your residential general contractor, we coordinate every detail—from layout refinement and space planning to final finishes. We collaborate closely with homeowners, architects, and interior designers to translate vision into actionable plans. Whether it’s a modern kitchen transformation, a luxury primary suite, a custom home office, or a finished basement built for entertaining, we ensure each space is thoughtfully designed and structurally sound.
Why Is Interior Remodeling Important?
Interior remodeling is more than an aesthetic upgrade—it enhances functionality, comfort, and long-term value. Thoughtful reconfiguration can improve flow, maximize space efficiency, and adapt your home to changing lifestyle needs.
From custom cabinetry and millwork to flooring, tile, lighting, and trim packages, every detail contributes to both durability and design impact. Properly managed remodeling ensures structural integrity, compliance with building codes, and high-quality installation across all trades. The result is a home that not only looks exceptional but performs beautifully for years to come.
When Should You Consider Custom Interior Remodeling?
Interior remodeling can also include structural modifications such as removing walls, installing support beams, or reconfiguring staircases to improve flow. Many homeowners choose to integrate smart home technology, energy-efficient lighting, upgraded insulation, and high-performance HVAC systems to enhance comfort and efficiency. If your home feels disconnected from how you live today, it may be time to reimagine the interior.

Mike and Brian were amazing to work with. From the initial consult to the final walkthrough, they were able to capture the vision we had for our home and transform it on time, on budget, and with an attention to detail that surpassed our expectations.
Greg S
Mike and Brian did an amazing job adding recessed lighting to our living room! Mike was so accommodating to our sensitive timeframe to get the job completed and with no mess. We can’t thank you enough for your attention to detail and professionalism!
Lauren Cirino
We used Mike and his team to have new high hat lights put in our family room. They were so professional, kept as much as they possibly could covered during the job, and cleaned up when they were finished.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will the renovation take from start to finish?
This is on a project by project basis, we try to give a loose timeline at the time the contract is signed.
What is the total estimated cost, and what could cause it to increase?
We provide our clients with a breakdown of the costs from Estimate through signature of the Final Contract. That being said, throughout the renovation if additions or changes are needed, a change order is sent with the breakdown of cost and signed off on.
Do I need permits for this project, and will you handle them?
If a permit is needed for your job the general contractor will have that added to the statement of work as part of your Contract.
What is the payment schedule or deposit requirement?
The first deposit is required at the time of signature of your contract. The breakdown of payment is listed on the Contract as well.
Will I need to move out during the renovation?
Depending on what type of project we are working on for you, will depend on if you would need to move out of the room, house, etc. You are responsible for removing anything in the project area that could be in the way of the work being done.
How will you protect the rest of my home from dust?
We use drop cloths and pride ourselves on being as clean as possible while we work and before we leave for the day.
Who will be working in my home (employees vs. subcontractors)?
Our team of vetted and qualified employees and subcontractors that we have a long standing relationship with.
What happens if there are unexpected issues (like plumbing, electrical, or structural problems)?
The project will be put on hold as we help assimilate the cost of the issues and the route to take with you from there. The standard is that a change order and a cost would come with issues like these.
Do you offer any warranty or guarantee on the work?
We do not offer specific warranties but we do however stand by our work. If something comes up please call and we can address it accordingly.
